The Lakes

Rushden Lakes is a shopping and leisure destination like no other in Northamptonshire. Whether you want to shop in style, relax with family, or dine out with friends, Rushden Lakes has it all, and phase one of this exciting development will open fully autumn 2017.

A premier visitor destination, the shopping and leisure park is set in an area of outstanding natural beauty on the upper Nene Valley beside the beautiful Rushden Lakes just outside of Wellingborough and Rushden Town Centre. A brand new footbridge will link Rushden Lakes to Rushden Town Centre, and provide easy access by foot. An extensive bus service will also run between Rushden Lakes and neighbouring towns including Wellingborough, Northampton and Raunds. The site will also have over 1,500 car parking spaces, with designated parent and child, disabled and electric car charging spaces.

Long lakeside walks, a visitor centre and discovery centre run by The Wildlife Trust, canoeing on the lake and family leisure areas are all set alongside high street fashion favourites including H&M, River Island, Next, and Primark; anchored by a large format House of Fraser and M&S, Rushden Lakes brings big name fashion brands to town, including Jigsaw, Hobbs and Joules. An impressive line-up of lakeside restaurants and cafes, including Pizza Express, a drive through Costa and selection of cafes and eateries help complete the perfect shopping and leisure experience.

At the heart of the success of Rushden Lakes lies a commitment to delivering a fully immersive visitor experience for customers coming to visit; combining best in-class customer facilities and access to beautiful surroundings, wildlife and leisure facilities for everyone to enjoy.
