The Royal British Legion (Rushden Branch) will be commemorating VJ Day this evening at the Rushden War Memorial.
The service will commence at 8.35pm with Sundowners (Retreat Call) being played by a lone bugler.
Everyone is very welcome to join this commemoration.

Advanced Warning of Road Closure
Northamptonshire Highways are intending on carrying out carriageway repairs on A6 Higham Ferrers bypass. To undertake the works safely will require overnight closures (8pm to 6am) starting on the 9th September and being completed by the 21st September 2019.
The road will be closed in one direction at any one time.
