Road Closure Information

Road Closure Information

Northamptonshire Highways are requiring to carry out urgent repairs to the southbound carriageway of the A6 bypass. To complete the works safely will need the road to be closed for one night between 8pm and 6am and it is expected that the works will take place on the 6th November 2018.

Fireworks Refund Update

Fireworks Refund Update -

Refunds are available Sunday 4th Nov 10am - 12 midday and Monday 5th Nov 6pm to 8pm at Rushden Scout HQ (behind Orbit Tyres), more times to follow on Nene Valley Scouts website & Facebook pages. The shops have had their funds collected so please do not return to them - this was for Saturday only.

Fireworks, Hall Park 3rd November 2018 - Important Information

From 10:30 (3rd Nov) refunds will be available from the shops where you bought your ticket from, except for the mini market in Rushden where you will will have to go to the Scout HQ, 5 Brooke Close (Behind Orbit Tyres) between 10:30 and 15:30. Please note you will need your ticket with you to get a refund.

There is still time to redeem many of the shopping vouchers in Rushden and Higham Ferrers High Streets

The "Shop Local in Rushden and Higham Ferrers High Streets" booklet containing over 48 redeemable discount vouchers was compiled and produced recently by Rushden and Higham Ferrers Town Councils.

Over 1500 booklets were given out to visitors at our Heritage Family Fun Day on 16th September at Rushden Lakes, a further 500 booklets have been distributed amongst the shops on both High Streets.
