Spooktacular Pumpkin Hunt and Halloween Costume Competition

Rushden Town Council have teamed up with the Rushden and Higham Rainbows group and Higham Ferrers Town Council to bring the children of both towns a Spooktacular Halloween, with a Pumpkin Hunt and Halloween Costume Competition, starting this Saturday! Costume competition:

• Dress up in your scariest, spookiest Halloween costumes
• Take a photos whilst out on the Rushden & Higham Pumpkin Hunt
• Share your photos on the Rushden & Higham Rainbows Facebook page or the Rushden Town Council Facebook page to win prizes!
• The most spooky and creative costumes win! Winning entries will be selected after 1st November.

We hope to see many of your spooky, scary Halloween costume photos, and photos of you participating in the Pumpkin Hunt!

Pumpkin Hunt 2020:
• Hidden around Rushden and Higham Ferrers will be 30 numbered Pumpkin signs for children to find (find as little or as many as you wish) Click here for clues

• Click here to download and print the Pumpkin check sheet
• Search Rushden & Higham for Pumpkin signs
• When you spot one, cross the numbered Pumpkin off the check sheet
• When your child finds a Pumpkin symbol, fill their bag with some treats
• Click here to print out your child's certificate for completing the Pumpkin Hunt
• Remember to dress up in your scariest costumes

A safety message from Neil Smith, of Rushden and Higham Rainbows group and organiser of the above events, "In order to keep our children safe online, please do not name children in your comments under their picture. Teaching children about anonymity online is very important; and having names linked to faces is a digital footprint.
