Mobile Speed Indication Devices for Rushden

After a lengthy consultation, we have now identified 34 sites in Rushden where we can position SID signs (Speed Indication Devices). Rushden Town Council has now purchased 4 mobile signs and we will be placing these in various locations throughout the town to help monitor speeding and road safety.

The initial locations will be Higham Road, Irchester Road and Avenue Road, with one on Wellingborough Road being installed shortly. These Speed activated signs will warn motorists and gather data to aid the police in road safety initiatives.
