Garden of Remembrance Service for Schools

Yesterday, Rushden School children joined The Royal British Legion (Rushden Branch) at the War Memorial to remember the sacrifice of our Armed Forces community from Britain and the Commonwealth.

A representative from The Royal British Legion (Rushen Branch) said, "It was sa delight to have Megan Graham attending; a survivor of the Alfred Street School bombing in Oct 1940 and a Poppy Appeal seller for 50 years".
