Rushden Remembrance 2022

WEDNESDAY 9 NOVEMBER - Garden of Remembrance Service for Schools

The Royal British Legion (Rushden) Branch will be holding a Dedication at 10.45am, Rushden War Memorial and Garden of Remembrance.

FRIDAY 11 NOVEMBER - Armistice Day

Rushden will join the nation for a two-minute silence at 11am, to pay respects to our Armed Forces community, past and present. The War Memorial, Rushden.

SUNDAY 13 NOVEMBER - Remembrance Sunday Service and Parade

The parade will assemble at 10.15am outside Rushden Hall, Hall Park and will march to the War Memorial where a service will be held, together with the laying of wreaths and a two-minute silence at 11.00am. This service will continue in St Mary's Church at 11:15am.

***ROAD CLOSURES FOR RUSHDEN'S REMEMBRANCE DAY PARADE***

The following roads will be closed between 09:45 am and 11:45 am;
• Newton Road Junction with Rectory Road and Park Road
• Top of Church Street / Church Parade (Right-hand lane only)

The following roads will be closed between 10:30 am and 11:30 am;
• High Street South Junction with Griffith Street
• Dominos Pizza Car Park
• Brook Close
• Duck Street Roundabout / Church Street
• John Street / Church Street
