Notice is hereby given

that due to the death of Councillor David Jenney, a vacancy now exists in the office of Councillor for Rushden Town Council, Rushden Bates Ward.

If by 14th February 2023 (14 days after the date of this notice excluding Saturdays, Sundays and bank holidays), a request for an election to fill the vacancy is made in writing to the Proper Officer, North Northamptonshire Council, Municipal Offices, Bowling Green Road, Kettering, Northants, NN15 7QX by TEN electors for the Rushden Bates Ward, an election will be held to fill the vacancy. If no such request is received the Town Council may fill the vacancy by co-option.

If an election is called, it will take place on Thursday 23rd March 2023
