Retiring Mayor's Cheque Presentation for his Chosen Charities

On Tuesday 16th May 2023 the retiring Town Mayor, Cllr Adrian Winkle, invited the Royal British Legion (Rushden) Branch, Rushden Mind, Twinkling Stars and Rushden Foodbank (Encompass) to Rushden Hall, where a short presentation was held to donate monies raised from his Mayoral year.

Cllr Winkle raised a total of £2,500.00 for his chosen Charities during his Mayoral Year 2022 - 2023, with his main chosen Charities receiving the following;

- Royal British Legion (Rushden) Branch - £500.00

- Children with Cancer - £500.00

- R.N.L.I. - £500.00

The following good causes were added throughout Cllr Winkle's Mayoral year;

- Rushden Food Bank (Encompass) - £250.00

- Rushden Mind - £450.00

- Twinkling Stars - £300.00
