Rushden Celebrates the Coronation

The sun shone warmly and a large crowd of the local community celebrated the Coronation on Sunday in the Walled Garden, Hall Park. Families brought along picnic's and enjoyed brass band music from the Rushden Town Band whilst Beat Route Radio provided extra entertainment. Rush 2The Den provided a craft tent for the children and ice creams were available to purchase. The crowd stood to a rendition of 'God Save The King' by the Town Band and the day was filled with sunshine and a good time was had by all. The evening sky brought on the illumination of number of Rushden landmarks arranged by Lightening Lloyd to commemorate this momentous occasion.
