Free, half term Workshop for Children, to be provided by Rushden Town Council, held at Rushden Hall on Friday 27th October.

Following the success of the Summer workshops, Rushden Town Council are delighted to provide a free Halloween Animal Encounters workshop for children during half term week.

A series of six classes holding up to 30 children will run throughout the day starting at 10am and lasting for 45 minutes.

This exciting animal-handling workshop will help children learn about animals in a safe, controlled environment. The session is fully interactive and time is made for every child to touch or hold the animals. This close-up experience helps to build confidence, as well as making the experience truly memorable.

The animal encounters workshop covers a range of curriculum-based topics including Rainforest, Mini-beasts, Nocturnal Animals and Lifecycles. Sessions include a mixture of mini-beasts, reptiles, mammals and birds and direct handling is actively encouraged!

Each Session is for a 45-minute duration and is available to children aged 4 years and upwards. Parent's/Carer's need to be present at all times.

Bookings are made on a first come, first served basis and early booking is recommended to secure a place.
