On the 14th May 2019 at the Annual General Meeting of Rushden Town Council, Cllr Cesare Marinaro was elected as Town Mayor for 2019 – 2020, and his wife, Mrs Sabina Marinaro, was named as Mayor's Consort.
Cllr Mrs Melanie Coleman was elected as Deputy Mayor for 2019 - 2020, and her husband, Cllr David Coleman, was named as Deputy Mayor's Consort.

Rushden Town Council will be holding a short service to observe Holocaust Memorial Day, on Monday 28th January 2019, at 10.00am, at the Rushden War Memorial.
There will be a short reading, one minute of silence and the lighting of a candle. We would welcome anyone who wishes to attend this service to remember the Holocaust and all subsequent acts of genocide.
