Rushden Town Council will be holding a short service to observe Holocaust Memorial Day, on Monday 28th January 2019, at 10.00am, at the Rushden War Memorial.
There will be a short reading, one minute of silence and the lighting of a candle. We would welcome anyone who wishes to attend this service to remember the Holocaust and all subsequent acts of genocide.

Rushden Town Council and the Royal British Legion will be joining others across the country to light a beacon in remembrance of all those who fought and died in the First World War.

Rushden Neighbourhood Plan
We are delighted the residents of Rushden have recognised the importance of a strong Neighbourhood Plan and have voted to adopt the Rushden Neighbourhood Plan.

On the 15th May 2018 at the Annual General Meeting of Rushden Town Council, Cllr David Coleman was elected as Town Mayor for 2018 – 2019, and his wife, Cllr Mrs Melanie Coleman, was named as Mayor's Consort.
Cllr Cesare Marinaro was elected as Deputy Mayor for 2018 - 2019, and his wife, Mrs Sabina Marinaro, was named as Deputy Mayor's Consort.
