Soap Box Derby 2019

Rushden's Soap Box Derby will be held on 9 June 2019 in Hall Park. Build your own Soap Box and come along and join in the fun.

There will be a full week of events running from 8 June to 16 June. Brochures with full Programme of Events will be available from May onwards. Keep your eyes open for more details!

Remembrance Service & Parade - Sunday 11 November 2018

The Royal British Legion (Rushden Branch) Remembrance Service and Parade will be held at the Rushden War Memorial, at 10.50am, on the 11th November 2018.

From 10.15am the Parade will form at Robinson Road, ready to march off at 10.35am, to the War Memorial.

Garden of Remembrance Service

Garden of Remembrance Service

A Service and two minutes silence was held today at the Garden of Remembrance in Rushden. A Bible reading was given by Padre Rev Linnet Smith and a Poem, In Flanders Fields by John McRoe, was read by the Mayor of Rushden. After the readings, pupils from Rushden Academy, Alfred Street Junior School and Whitefriars planted crosses to honour those who gave their lives.
