Rushden Town Council popped into Knit or Sew, Ma's Buttons and Haberdashery this afternoon and it was fantastic to see the many ladies knitting and nattering and enjoying a local lunch provided by mrsb's sandwich emporium rushden

RECTORY ROAD CLOSURE UPDATE
Please be aware that this closure has now been delayed by a week and will take place on Sunday the 28th October.

Commhoist Limited are requiring to place a mobile crane on the carriageway at the junction of Rectory Road and Victoria Road in Rushden to allow for the safe undertaking of telecom works. By the placing of the crane it will close the carriageway to through traffic for one day and is expected to take place on the 23rd October 2018 between 9.30am and 3.30pm.

UPDATE ON HALL PARK DOG WALKING AREA.
We have been informed that these are in actual fact Honey Bees, therefore we are unable to move them, so we have fenced off the area, please just be very careful when up there.

URGENT INFORMATION DOG WALKING AREA, HALL PARK, RUSHDEN.
We have been advised this morning of a fallen tree at the top of the dog walking area by the top gates. A large wasps nest is within this fallen tree, and we are advising you to keep your children/dogs away from this tree until this situation has been resolved.
