Highways England - A45 Chowns Mill - CANCELLED weekend Closure
Due to unforeseen circumstances, we've postponed this weekend's full closure of the A45/A6 Chowns Mill roundabout.
Next weekend's closures will still go ahead as planned.
We'll fully close the A45/A6 Chowns Mill roundabout on weekend of 12 to 14 March to complete the resurfacing work.

A45 Chowns Mill - Station Road (A5028) update
We're working hard to complete the A45 Chowns Mill Improvement work as safely and quickly as possible. Work is progressing well and we remain on track to complete the work by Winter 2021/2022.

A45 Chowns Mill - Weekly Look Ahead
During the day this week we will continue to work on kerbing, drainage and preparing for laying Tarmac this weekend. The road sweeper will be present during the day across all areas
There will be minimal nighttime work during the week, however we will have a closure of the southern half of the roundabout on Wednesday & Thursday to prepare for the forthcoming weekend works.

The passing of former Rushden Mayor, Tony Helsdown
It is with great sadness that we have been informed of the passing of a former Rushden Mayor, Tony Helsdown.
Bruno, as he was known in the town, was Mayor of Rushden from 2007 to 2008, with his late wife Peggy at his side. The Mayoral robes were gifted to the town by Bruno.
