Merchant Navy Day 2020
Today we are flying the Red Ensign at the cenotaph, in honour of Merchant Navy Day 2020.
Merchant Navy Day is dedicated to honour the brave men and women who kept the 'island nation' afloat during both World Wars and for the modern seafarers who are responsible for UK imports.
The Red Ensign or 'Red Duster' has been the recognised flag of the British Merchant Navy since 1854.

New tool to increase recycling in East Northants launches
As part of ENC's strategy to combat contamination in recycling bins across the district, each household will receive a sticker to place inside recycling bins to remind what can & cannot be recycled.
